Our story doesn’t begin with a company, but with a vision. In 1835, Don José Francisco Valverde De Cazaubon arrived in Chile with Hispano-French heritage in his veins and a dream in his heart: to craft exceptional wine, inspired by French winemaking techniques, to be shared first with those closest to him.

What began as wine for personal enjoyment soon grew into a conviction: that high-quality wine, with character and the ability to age gracefully, has the power to transcend generations and borders. This belief was carried forward by his descendant, Don José Isabel Del Rosario Yannes Valverde, who, at the beginning of the 20th century, revived the family dream by founding a small winery — not only to vinify his own grapes, but also to support fellow Chilean winegrowers.
